Features
Shrub rose with glossy green foliage that has a red edge when immature. Very large white flowers 5 inches wide, double (petal count 22) with slight fragrance.
Culture
Full sun, well-drained soil. Prune by the renewal method removing about one-third of the oldest canes in the spring to the soil line as needed to keep the shrub open and new canes in production. Prune the stem back to a branch angle (a process called heading back) as needed to reduce width and height.
Notes
Excellent hardiness and disease resistance. In bud the flowers look like hybrid tea roses. Spring/summer flush of bloom with recurrent later bloom.
